Frequently asked questions about perforated plates

Do you manufacture custom perforated plates?

Yes, Eurotramex manufactures perforated sheet metal made to measure to adapt to the specifications of each project, both in dimensions and in type of perforation and material. You can send us drawings or consult with our technical team without obligation.

What are the available finishes for perforated plate?

Perforated sheets can be supplied in black, hot-dip galvanized, lacquered or stainless steel, depending on the requirements of the environment of use and the applicable project regulations.

What is the usual delivery time?

For standard orders with available stock, lead time is reduced. For custom manufacturing or large volumes, our team will confirm the lead time in the quotation. We respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

It depends on the type of perforated plate and the material. Contact us to check availability in your volume: we attend to both one-off projects and continuous supply orders.

How can I request a quote?

You can do it through the contact form, by phone or by email. If you have drawings or technical specifications, please attach them so that our team can give you a more precise answer. There is no obligation.

Do you ship outside Spain?

Yes, Eurotramex has export presence in Europe, with representation in France. If your project is outside Spain, please contact us for availability and shipping conditions.

What is the difference between a perforated plate and a tramex grid?

They are different products with different applications. Perforated sheet is a continuous sheet with stamped holes, most commonly used in cladding, facades and filtration. Tramex grating is a cross bar structure, most commonly used in walkways, industrial floors and access platforms. Eurotramex manufactures both products to order.

What is the drilling coefficient?

The perforation coefficient indicates the percentage of open surface in relation to the total surface of the sheet. The higher the coefficient, the greater the passage of air, light or liquid. Its choice depends on the use: ventilation, filtering, aesthetics or structural resistance. In our table of types you can consult the coefficient of each available reference.

Is the perforated sheet suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, provided the appropriate material and finish is chosen. For exteriors we recommend hot-dip galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminum, depending on the level of exposure and project requirements. Our technical team can advise you on the most suitable option for each environment.

Do you manufacture perforated stainless steel plate?

Yes, we manufacture perforated stainless steel plate for environments that require high corrosion resistance, such as food, chemical or outdoor installations with aesthetic requirements. Please consult with our team for availability of thicknesses and perforation types.
