A electrofusion grid (also known as electrofused tramex) is a metallic grating made up of load-bearing plates (the “strips” that support the load) and transverse rods (rounded round), joined together by fusion welding at each fusion welding at each crossing. This point-to-point bonding creates a very solid and stable structure, ideal for walkways, platforms, stairways, stairways, manholes and transit areas.
The great advantage of electrofusion is that it is welded at all points, allows for cut-outs and custom shapes (according to plan or hole on site) no risk of disassembly. It is a practical solution when you need safety, drainage/ventilation and durable installation in industrial or construction environments.
